Biology tutor providing lessons for GCSE and A-level students

I am passionate about learning and education, and strongly believe that the attitude and passion conveyed by a teacher/ tutor is the most important player in encouraging student engagement in learning.

As I am still in education, I am able to relate to the struggles that come with being a student and preparing for exams. Additionally, because I have completed my qualifications so recently, I am still familiar with the framework and structure of the exams and syllabi.

I will endeavor to personalize and tailor every lesson to each individual student, and break subjects down into bite sized chunks. My teaching will be accompanied by looking at past exam questions, and will work alongside the specific syllabi/ mark schemes, to ensure my teaching covers the specific content required. I am patient and friendly, and there will never be any question too silly for me to answer.

I was awarded a 9 in my GCSE biology exams, and an A in my A-level biology exams.

I am currently going into my second year at The University of Manchester studying Biology (Bsc), with a grade point average (GPA) of 79 across my exams. I have particular interests in human biology and genetics. I can tutor the entire breadth of GCSE and A-level biology.

My schedule is very flexible, therefore I am able to offer sessions as frequently as needed and at many different times of day.
