English teacher providing 11+, Key Stage Three and GCSE support

I have taught English for the past 14 years. I was promoted to Second in English in my NQT year and Head of English in my second year of teaching. I have been Head of English at an International School and at the largest Secondary School in Lancashire. I have supported children of all abilities. In more recent years, I have been an Assistant Headteacher working in a challenging context. Whilst I love teaching, the mainstream classroom is not the place for me anymore. I can teach all abilities, and I mostly enjoy working with disaffected boys. I love Literature, so I am happy to work with any examination board and any texts. If, by any chance, it is a text I am unfamiliar with - I will happily research and plan accordingly.
