Advert description
Throughout my formative years I’ve been spellbound by historical characters and legacies of the past, such as the distinctive Braced vigour and courage, emulated by Hamilcar and Hannibal. However, as history exposed me to theology, then theology to philosophy, I found myself entirely awestruck at philosophy's ability to change someone's fundamental belief about reality; so now more than ever I feel philosophy is the most important discipline. Science can continue to discover in the narrower scope of sensory possibilities, but the archaic questions plaguing humanity since the beginning, concerning existence, deities and morality, requires cogitation into language, logic and reason. It’s to this end that I’ve shaped my education around it and the skills that I’ve learned in this pursuit are invaluable to me. It’s taught me how to conduct detailed research, perform independent critical analysis and solve complex problems. It’s cultivated in me adept time management, organisational skills and analytical thinking.
