English teacher based in a high-achieving grammar school looking to tutor students aged 11-18. My ethos in teaching is ensuring that my students are happy and comfortable in their learning environment, and tailoring my content to best suit their needs. Reflective practice is highly important to effective teaching, which will be particularly true on a 1:1 basis. With my tutelage comes all of my resources that I've built over the last 5 years - these may require tailoring to specific exam boards, but I am happy to provide all of these at no additional cost after the first session. My experience is with Edexcel and OCR at GCSE, and the International Baccalaureate for ages 11-14 and 16+. I also teach several students with SEN and many for whom English is an additional language.
