Hello. I am a British teacher who has recently taken early retirement. I love teaching and enjoy developing a rapport with learners. Providing tuition is a way for me to continue supporting learners while pursuing my other interests in life! I am a friendly teacher with a good sense of humour because I know that creating a trusting relationship between teacher and learner is essential to progress; students are happy to take risks and be curious in my sessions. In addition to providing courses which are specific to the needs of the learner, I also endeavor to make my lessons fun and engaging, as this ensures that the learning sticks. I have a British teaching qualification, a Master's in Development Studies, a BA (hons) in Southeast Asian Studies. I am also a qualified EFL teacher and IELTS examiner.
