Spanish tutor providing online classes to students of all ages and abilities

I am Emma, a Spanish, French and English, teacher from the UK who is passionate about language learning. I have a first class undergraduate degree in French and Spanish, along with a Masters degree in translation. I have spent time in Andalucía in the south of Spain in order to immerse myself and improve my spoken Spanish, after finishing my degree and masters a few years ago. Previous to that, I spent five years working in the translation industry. I love to learn languages and exchange cultures and in my free time I am teaching myself Italian and Portuguese.
I have extensive experience teaching English and Spanish including time spent teaching in a language academy in Andalucía, Spain working to both Oxford and Cambridge frameworks. I also have experience teaching at a bilingual primary school in Andalucía, where my role was to improve students English and to improvement engagement with language learning. As a linguist myself, I also have over ten years of learning and working with languages, so I understand how daunting learning a language for fun, for school or for work can be - I would love to share my tips, tricks and enthusiasm to help you learn effectively.
My approach is very flexible and I am happy to be led by what each student needs - be that free conversation in order to improve spoken language, or grammar practice to improve written understanding, or working to prepare for a specific exam. I am a firm believer that we learn best when we are engaged, so I try to incorporate elements of fun into my class to keep things as interesting as possible, whilst also working towards specific targets.
