Piano teacher to children and adults from beginner to advanced levels

I have over twenty years experience of teaching the piano and have also played professionally as a ballet accompanist and instrumental accompanist. I always take a person-centred approach to teaching, adapting my methods to suit an individual's learning style and preference. I provide detailed practice notes so that self-practice in between is guided and structured. I try to incorporate elements of technique, theory and musicianship into every lesson. I also have a BA Honours degree in music and a PGCE in primary education with several years of classroom teaching experience.
