To teach A-level math effectively, I start with an assessment to identify the student’s strengths and weaknesses, then create a structured plan focusing on challenging topics. I use step-by-step explanations and visual aids, to engage the student while encouraging questions to foster a supportive learning environment. I also teach exam techniques, including time management and calculator skills, and incorporate regular practice with past papers and timed sections. I find it extremely crucial to assign targeted homework and provide constructive feedback to reinforce learning. Lastly, I track progress through mini-tests and adapt my approach as needed, building both understanding and confidence along the way.
