I deploy responsive teaching to achieving the desired outcome(s)

I have an extensive experience in teaching, mentoring, responsive communication, and a good teacher/student /parents relationship. In addition to my over 4 years’ experience as an Assistant Lecturer, I have a Bachelor’s degree in History, and International Studies(first class) alongside a Master’s degree in History(PhD grade), currently on my PhD and the highly focused skill set needed to be successful in this position.
I assumed the position of an Assistant Lecturer as one of the first alumna in the Department of History and International Studies, Bowen University, Nigeria on the 1st of February, 2019 till 26th of April, 2023. Through these years, I have discovered that learning can only be impactful in a safe, open, supportive environment and under an understanding and relatable tutor.
As an Assistant Lecturer, I have taught over 5 courses. I have conducted examinations, graded and processed results. During Covid 19, I deployed an interactive mode of virtual teaching,Conducted exams, marked and graded online.
I have supervised the following Undergraduate projects and undertaken administrative responsibilities.
My personal skills include being patient, resilient, emotional and social intelligence. All these are strongly hinged on a high sense of integrity and confidentiality.
These makes me an ideal History tutor.
