Qualified Science Teacher- Specialist in Biology

Advert description
I am fully professional with a Master's qualification (M. Phil - Zoology), PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education)+ SCITT (School-Centred Initial Teacher Training), and having QTS garnished with a Subject Knowledge Enhancement course (Biology) and a variety of updated safeguarding, prevent duties, and health and safety training. I have completed my training year in London with 2 placement schools and secured QTS. Moreover, I also have extensive (with more than eight years of) Biology teaching experience in overseas public and private sector high schools and colleges (teacher in Pakistan) equivalent to O-Level, GCSE, and IGCSE.
(Biology), A-Level (Biology), and degree students of Biology. I have also taught a range of
international curriculums including the British National Curriculum, and the Oxford
International Curriculum. I am currently seeking a teaching position in the school's biology
department as a secondary school teacher (biology) or in college as a lecturer (biology). My
master’s qualification (assessed by UK-ENIC) has provided me with a deep and broad
understanding of the subject. My academic background, combined with the practical
experience I gained during my SCITT and PGCE, has equipped me with strong pedagogical
skills and a passion for nurturing the curiosity and scientific understanding of young minds. I
am committed to delivering student-lead lessons that engage students through inquiry-based
learning, encouraging critical thinking, and supporting them to make connections between
biological concepts and real-world applications. I take pride in my ability to create a positive
and inclusive learning environment where all students feel supported and motivated to
succeed. Throughout my training, I have developed effective classroom management
strategies and tailored my teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
