It’s first very important to know the parents’ goals for their child and acknowledge any concerns they have about their learning. It’s equally as important to know the child’s passions and concerns about the subject being taught. Once this has been discussed, I will then cater a learning schedule and plan for the child based on their goals, which works for everyone.
