I give lessons to individuals. How I choose to do so is largely up to the students.

From my own experience, exam questions are most effective, and so I look through these with the student. These exam questions will be based on an agreed-upon topic beforehand, and to maximise the usage of our time we may only go over the questions that the student communicates they have struggled on, where the student has attempted to attain their own questions beforehand. However, if the student feels they have alternative approaches that will suit them better such as going over a particular topic in Maths or Physics to ensure that their knowledge is consolidated, I am also very happy to do this.
