University Maths Student tutoring A-Level and GCSE Maths

I achieved A* in A-Level Maths and Grade 9 in GCSE Maths within the last 3 years and have been tutoring for over a year. Being fresh out of school, I provide a relatable yet rigorous tutoring experience. I emphasise developing intuition when teaching mathematics - I believe there is a way to explain anything to everybody. Current A-Level and GCSE students are well aware of the relevance of problem solving skills. I like to challenge students with difficult problems and develop their mathematical thinking (problem solving) by letting them solve it, with gentle nudges in the right direction from me. Encouraging searching for and discovering interesting mathematical results is at the heart of my approach. With these experiences students will be best prepared to handle the hard, unexpected questions in their exams.
