I am a university student studying law at Westminster, and I have been tutoring GCSE level mathematics for the past two years.

I have always had a passion for teaching, which is what led me to start up my own private tuition company towards the end of my time in sixth form. I have been consistently delivering online lessons to a large number of students ranging from years 7-11 for the past two years since then. I have mastered the skill of building up rapport with my students (and their parents likewise) as I believe that a healthy and positive relationship is imperative for the lessons to be most successful. Having been a student in secondary school not long ago, I find that this edge has greatly enhanced my ability to relate to the students with their studies and day to day struggles, which further helps them to benefit from our lessons. My students have seen vast improvements in their grades since I have taken them on, and I have received great praise and numerous recommendations from their parents throughout. I like to bring a lighthearted and conversational approach to my lessons, as my aim is to ensure that the students are actually looking forward to maths tuition, as opposed to viewing it as a chore. I have made use of various online and personal resources, and I have kept a record of timetables and lesson schedules throughout to help me monitor the students’ progress (as I also set weekly homework to consolidate the lesson’s subject matter).
