Hello! Thank you for taking the time to review my skills and experience! I have been a successfully self-employed and peripatetic singing teacher since graduating from the Royal Academy of Music with my MA in 2013. I am a dual US/UK citizen with the right to work in the UK. A teacher who prides herself on creating a safe, encouraging and uplifting environment for all of my singers, my diligent students consistently score merits and distinctions on their exams both in ABRSM and Trinity boards. However, I am not a teacher who believes that grades are the "be all, end all" for my students' development. I believe that fostering musicianship in my students is a result of creating an environment where they can explore what they're already interested in as well as exposing them to new musical ideas. Each student is different and I tailor my approach to their individual needs. Alongside my lesson approach with students, I have a clear communication style to ensure parents are kept abreast of progress, necessities, and performance opportunities.
