Our lessons are entirely flexible - it's up to you how we use them! I have plenty of revision resources we can use and I'm very happy to deliver lessons and lectures myself. This might involve covering key context for the texts you study, looking through mark schemes and past papers, or learning and revising subject terminology which is crucial for your GCSE exams. I am also very conscious that sometimes students look for a tutor in order to support them with and supplement their school work - and this is something I'm very capable of helping you with too. This might look like going over homework tasks and doing them together, or things like essay practice and revision of content covered in class.

I have over 18 months of experience both working for a large tutoring company as well as providing my own private sessions to GCSE students online, and as such I have a very diverse range of skills and teaching techniques which I can draw upon in order to work alongside students and help them to achieve top grades. I believe that 1-to-1 tutoring is an important tool for learning, as students are able to explore topics in more depth and take the time to ask questions and properly engage in a way which is difficult within the classroom. This is especially relevant for subjects like English, where there is often not a right or wrong answer to questions. I strive to offer a comfortable, relaxed and inquisitive environment for my tutees!
