I am a currently a cover teacher, I have wealth of experience teaching a class and as well a one on one student. One on one tutorial is a very good tool to demystify and bridge gap of poor understanding. This method equips the student with adequate preparation and understanding. In other to teach the students I’d will want to identify the challenges the student is facing, most cases they are complicated and include, lack of concentration, poor reading or inability to ready, slower pace of understanding, or a lacuna of knowledge which the student may not have participated to learn. This guides approach and teaching methodology. Secondly you make the student to feel at ease to be encouraged to show lack of knowledge eager to help them. Making teaching a step at a time to know that the student really understands before moving ahead or continuing teaching
