Maths Tutor based in London providing Maths tuition to KS3 and below

I am an enthusiastic and reliable tutor with over a years worth of experience teaching music to children ages 7 to 11. I teach methodically and in accordance with the scheme of work students undertake at school. In lessons I will teach using a variety of example questions and practice papers whilst using practical activities to help students comprehend the subject material. This allows me to supplement their learning leading to better results in school. I am confident in my ability to help students better grasp the concepts of maths and on how best to answer exam style questions. At GCSE not only did I get a 9 in Mathematics, I also got an A in the Free Standing Maths Qualification, the highest grade achievable. Moving into Year 13 and starting my final year of A-Level maths work hard for a grade A, once again the highest grade available at that level. These results reflect my great understanding of maths making me a great tutor as I can apply my own knowledge to help students. My years experience in teaching music has allowed to develop skills in both teaching and patience. I am currently studying maths and history at Whitmore High School whilst I study ancient history externally at Harrow Boys School. My main passion is music and have played samba, steel pans and bass guitar at a high level for several years now. Being a young person myself, I hope to relate to students to help increase their enthusiasm of maths!
