Advert description
I have recently completed my PhD degree from Imperial College London. I had the privilege of conducting high-level research, which has given me a strong foundation in the field of Clinical Medicine. I have worked on human embryonic stem cells and their potential role in regenerative medicine and disease remodelling. My PhD research focused on understanding the molecular mechanism of early human embryonic development. Furthermore, my four years of experience as a teaching assistant at Imperial College London for a large group of undergraduate students have allowed me to develop excellent communication and teaching skills. As a result, I am confident in my ability to communicate complex concepts in a way that is easy to understand.
I specialize in teaching Biology, aiming to create a dynamic and stimulating learning environment. My lessons are designed to be interactive and engaging, with a strong emphasis on active learning. I encourage students to actively participate in daily lessons, fostering discussions and collaborative activities that enhance their understanding of biological concepts.
Throughout our journey, we will delve into a range of captivating Biology-related topics, exploring everything from cellular processes to ecological systems. Together, we will dive into the intricate world of life sciences, group discussions, and real-world examples to facilitate a deeper comprehension of the subject matter.
One of my primary objectives is to create a classroom atmosphere where students feel empowered to ask questions, express their thoughts, and share their insights. I believe that by actively involving students in the learning process, we can cultivate a genuine passion for Biology and develop critical thinking skills that extend beyond the classroom.
Ultimately, my teaching philosophy centres around fostering a sense of curiosity and lifelong learning. I'm dedicated to equipping students with the knowledge and skills they need to navigate the fascinating realm of Biology and to apply their understanding to real-world situations. Together, we'll embark on a journey of exploration, discovery, and growth.
I'm excited to have you join my class and embark on this Biology adventure together!
