English as a second language tutor

I have a Master's degree in Social Work and I am an experience group facilitator and domestic and family violence counsellor. I am experienced in planning, delivering and altering lessons based on the needs of participants and I can facilitate learning within a group or in a one-on-one setting. I encourage participants to ask questions, to seek clarification if needed and to ask for and provide feedback. I like to help students feel empowered to reach their learning goals by offering support, encouragement and by providing a safe space for them to express their needs and reflect on their strengths and struggles. I am a patient and flexible teacher and enjoy meeting new people.
