Advert description
I am a final year student at the University of Cambridge. Although I study history, I received a high a* (9) at GCSE in both English Language and Literature, studying Shakespeare's Macbeth, Willa Cather's My Antonia, and a wide selection of poetry .
Though focusing on history I have continued to study and work with literature, directing 3 theatre shows at Cambridge which involved close textual analysis, including Tennessee Williams' Summer and Smoke.
Within my history degree I have been able to incorporate analysis of literature as a means of better understanding the societies and people in wich events take place, such as James Baldwin's Go Tell It On The Mountain and Emmanuel Litvinoff's Journey Through a Small Planet.
At Cambrigde I have loved the one on one teaching methods which has given me and understanding and a passion for creative and encouraging working environments. I can think of no better way to use this experience then in helping your child to reach their full-potential and delve into novels and plays.
I have high-level essay writing and source analysis skills as well as experience with helpful revision techniques and the Cambridge Application process.
