History tutor providing lessons to children of all ages

I have a First Class bachelor's degree in History and Master's degree in History of International Relations from the London School of Economics. I am passionate about education and the advancement of literacy among children and young adults. In 2019, I spent time at a local secondary school, the Harefield Academy in London, working closely with teachers and supporting students preparing for their A-level examinations. I have established experience in working with children. As the saying has it, ‘Knowledge is power,’ however, many talented children are denied access to higher education, thus limiting their chances for advancement. Voluntary work in an orphanage in Bethlem, West Bank, made me aware of the deeply rooted inequalities in the world. My experience working with children who had no guarantee of a better future strengthened my commitment to strive for a more equitable and inclusive society. As a History graduate, I am convinced that studying the past enables us to understand the present better.
