Firstly, I’d do a brief summary on the history behind chess and how it started. Then I’d go though the chess pieces names and the layout of the board. After I’ll explain how the pieces can move. Then I’ll explain the value of each piece. Then do a mini test on that to see if they were able to grasp that and we can start on the openings and strategies.
