Advert description
I've worked professionally in the games industry for the last 14 years as a designer, programmer and artist; and have worked on several successful indie and AAA games.
My own studio has previously been selected to receive the Uk Games Fund from the Department for Culture, Media & Sport. I am an active mentor on the Uk Games Fund Tranzfuzer program and have mentored teams that have gone on to also receive the Uk Games Fund.
I've found the best way to learn game development is to jump straight in and start making a game that can keep you motivated; and in such a competitive industry, building your own small game is one of the best ways to stand out and get your foot in the door.
For a beginner I’d recommend lesson plans that focus on building a simple game that’ll provide an introduction to game development with Unity and would cover subjects such as c♯ programming, game art and design.
I can also provide cv/portfolio feedback, interview advice and application review for aspiring developers looking to land their first job in the industry.
