My first degree was in Physics and Physiology with my PhD being gained in the area of high pressure Physiology. I have worked and researched in many areas of Science from Biophysics to Food Science. I have also worked in Industry with one of our major Food Companies.
Over the last 30 years at Nottingham University, I have lectured and tutored students from the UK and also from many international backgrounds. The subjects have ranged from Confectionery production to the use of Nuclear Magnetic Resonance in the measurement of Food properties and production.
I believe we are all capable of understanding the complexities of modern Science and Technology, provided our learning stems from an intuitive understanding of basic principles.
