With an in-depth, multi-disciplinary knowledge of Human Rights (Politics, Law and Philosophy). I am keenly interested in assisting students in tackling humanities based subjects such as History, Politics and Modern Studies and help foster an interest in these subjects and accompanying skill sets.
Structure of Sessions:
I offer personalised support sessions for both exam prep and general confidence boosting in the classroom. Not only can I provide skills to aide memorisation and essay writing for exams- I am also incredibly passionate about creating a safe space for self- expression and learning where no amount of questions is too much!
These sessions are incredibly flexible and are designed to address the need of each individual student, starting with an informal introduction/ get to know you session to assess the students goals, existing difficulties and timeline for success (free of charge). This session is also incredibly helpful for me to gauge what topics you are studying and where you feel you need extra support/ explanations.
From this session we will set up a plan and get to work!
Please not I provide tutelage for students undertaking Scottish Highers, Scottish National 5s, A-Levels and GCSEs as well as additional classwork and homework support to all secondary aged students. Additionally, I also offer conversation practice and support for non-native English speakers and advice on personal statements and CVs.
