Advert description
As a third-year student at the University of Glasgow who has studied Maths and Chemistry, I offer tutoring for National 5 and Higher qualifications in both subjects. With a background in Advanced Higher Maths and experience helping students at various levels, my goal is to make complex topics understandable and engaging.
Teaching Methodology:
My approach focuses on breaking down challenging concepts into manageable, easy-to-understand steps. I tailor each session to the student’s specific needs, whether it’s mastering core principles or preparing for exams. I use real-world examples to bring theory to life and encourage problem-solving to build confidence and independent thinking.
Lesson Structure:
Each lesson typically lasts 1 hour. We begin by reviewing previous material, identifying any difficulties, and building from there. The sessions include a mix of theory explanation, worked examples, and practice questions, with time for questions and revision at the end. I also set homework to reinforce what we’ve covered.
Experience and Qualifications:
I hold an Advanced Higher Maths qualification and have experience tutoring peers and younger students. Being a current student myself, I understand the curriculum and exam structures, allowing me to offer relevant and up-to-date guidance.
Who Are My Lessons For?
My lessons are ideal for secondary school students studying National 5 or Higher Maths and Chemistry, typically aged between 14-18 years old. Whether you need help with specific topics or preparation for exams, I can provide support to boost your confidence and understanding.
Don't forget—this is about your learning journey, and I’m here to make it as smooth and successful as possible!
