I studied English in Lambeth College, Brixton and I do have first hand training in English. If given the opportunity, I plan to deliver high-quality teaching in virtual settings

Curriculum overview:- I will provide opportunities that allows my students develop a variety of communication skills through both written and oral tasks.

Curriculum intent:- I will encourage and develop my students with a love of reading and to understand content.
- I will access a wide variety of material and genres.
- I will promote engagement and independence in writing.
- I will teach my students how to make progress in spelling, punctuation, grammar and the range of vocabulary.
- I will promote self-evaluation and resilience skills.

Curriculum implementation:- My students will look at and create different forms of writing such as novels, letters, poetry and articles.
- My students will be given opportunities to analyse language and structure.
- I will teach my students how to develop their skills through both written and verbal feedback appropriate to their learning pathway and needs.
- I will give my students the opportunity to assess their own work and discuss feedback.
- I will encourage my students to make links between personal interests and literacy skills.
