Qualified Primary school teacher offering private tuition

Qualified and experienced Primary School teacher, part time Primary school teacher and mother, currently teaching at a school in East Kilbride. I teach across the curriculum spanning from Early to Second level and beyond. Have experience working with children with additional support needs including ADHD, Autism, EDA and hearing impairments. I have attended various training courses relating to promoting positive behaviour and Autism awareness.

I believe that strong communication is essential to effective learning. I listen to the child's needs, and I talk to the parents regularly to ensure the goals are set appropriately and completed on time.
I make sure the lessons are fun and engaging so the child can feel confident in their knowledge and ability. I like to encourage and motivate them and relish seeing their confidence build week on week. I am extremely patient and can engage pupils through my creativity, commitment, and calming temperament.
I plan lessons and activities for children so they can be engaged in the learning process.

I offer after school sessions from Monday to Friday at a cost of £24 per hour. These sessions can be done either in person or online.
