PhD-qualified tutor in biology seeking students up to A Level grade

I have completed a PhD in organic chemistry and chemical biology, a subject area that encompasses both chemistry and biology knowledge, and since have two years post-PhD working in a drug discovery setting. Prior to this, I completed an integrated Bachelor's and Master's degree in chemistry with medicinal chemistry, with a research project surrounding cancer research.

Through student ambassador work during my undergraduate days I interacted with and coached students up to A Level grade, and during my PhD I was actively involved in mentoring students up Master's level in chemistry and undergraduate students, both in a formal setting and informal setting as a tutor. Since finishing my PhD I have undertaken tasks that involve mentoring my peers in various areas such as organic chemistry, mathematics, biology, and have been involved in a lecture course in medicinal chemistry, offering problem sessions and quizes to assess subject area understanding.

Due to the COVID 19 pandemic, my online conferencing abilities vastly improved and I can work with Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom very effectively. My tutoring approach is to initially ascertain what the tutee already knows of the subject area in question and then move on to problem solving and establishing links to knit the information together in a personal way to the student to help develop their understanding further.
