I participated in Voluntary Peer Tutoring where I handled the tutoring of international students, by translating and verbalising complex information. I did this through leading groups in seminar and research proposals, where practical and knowledgeable information was presented in a visually stimulating and organised manner. I also researched complex and socially challenging issues, using tried and tested methods to achieve excellent results. Many of these teaching methods were one-to-one based, but there were also PowerPoint presentations, with layered information and group working activities. These included questions, timed scenarios and brief group debates.
