Not everybody can be a teacher! Each exceptional mind was once instructed by some outstanding teachers

I have been working as the primary school teacher at the Saint Gabriel’s Senior Secondary School at Jabalpur in India since 2016 till January-before coming to the UK. I have also applied for the teacher registration with GTCS in the month of November 2022 and the outcome is awaited.
Before my teacher training, I studied for a Bachelor of Education in India in 2013. Before that, I received a Master degree in Environmental Science in 2005 and Bachelor of Science in 2003 from India.
In my years at Saint Gabriel’s Senior Secondary School, I have taught English and Environmental science as the main subjects for the age group 6 to 8 years. In addition to this I have taught Value Education, General Knowledge and art and Craft classes. I have mastered taking remedial classes for the students who needed extra help after school hours.
I have developed excellent classroom management skills and my students rarely need to ask for further clarification. When I teach, I always try to relate the subject matter to real world applications, along with preparing my students for their assessment.

As an educator, I have inculcated a habit of learning every day. My such routine imbibes excellent qualities and enhances my level of work. I pursue leadership qualities which allows me to get the best out of everything(e.g. simple story telling activity or organizing an annual day. My habit of teaching beyond books made my students more responsible and better citizens. I make sure my each class ends with a value based learning. I believe, we educators are working and shaping little minds. Hence, we need to be a good role model. I am trying to be one.

I have the capability to bring a positive change to the entire system. My basic teachings starts from real life examples, making students more imaginary and independent learners. My goals are simple, to make a healthy habitat where a child is free to learn and grow. My challenge is to work on the students who seek extra help, which I do with my zest and zeal. Hence forth making hundred percent learning in my classroom.

I have passion to teach young minds. I assure that I will bring a positive change.
