Mathematics tutors for S1-S5, GCSEs and A-levels

I hold an MSc degree in Mathematics with Merit from the University of Glasgow.

During my bachelor's, I fell in love with teaching when I volunteered to teach Science and Mathematics to struggling students, who needed support with their twelfth-grade board examinations. I discovered I was good at teaching after listening to the positive feedback that they enjoyed learning from me.

This led me to take up a paid part-time job role in teaching while pursuing my Master's. Currently, I have a three-year tutoring experience in teaching Mathematics. I enjoy teaching Math, as I love to build confidence in students by breaking down the subject's complexity that is easier to understand. I also thrive at making them appreciate the beauty of these fields. Students often lose motivation in learning a subject, which is a serious problem that must be addressed. My strategy is that I ensure my students are rewarded for their efforts, rather than results as this enforces positive learning feedback. Listening to their feedback, building rapport through learning activities, clarifying their questions with enthusiasm and understanding their thought process to promote original thinking are some of the strengths which have allowed me to shine in this role. To corroborate, the parents have observed steady-going progress in their children, and thus they manage to ace their tests with great success.

I hope to work hard towards something that is meaningful and contributing to society as teaching is a noble profession. I hope to work with students to boost their confidence levels and assist them in discovering their true potential.
