As I gave 6 months of teaching earlier in my life I found my own believings with studying.That is absolute trust with my student and freedom of speech in my class. I don't mean the stduents can go wild and speak whatever they want but to be confident to answer questions and more importantly to ask questions. The students i taught may not be the kids that had the highest grade but definitely the bravest and the most confident ones which helps them in improve with academic studies.
