I am friendly and like to talk and help people. I prefer to teach people above the age of 18.

I have studied Arabic at an advanced level and lived and worked in Saudi Arabia for ten years, teaching students Mathematics and English in Arabic. Prior to that, I taught Arabic in the UK for over five years, using two different books: "Madinah Books" and "Arabiya Bayn Yadayk" (Arabic Between Your Hands). I also taught tajweed(a science of pronouncing arabic letters correctly ) during those five years. As a teacher of multiple subjects, my skills are highly transferable. My teaching method is student-centered. I use questioning effectively to assess students' levels and tailor my instructions accordingly. When introducing a new topic, I elicit answers from students and build on their responses with new material. I regularly assess students before proceeding. I am friendly, approachable, and always willing to help.
