Friendly & relaxed qualified EFL/ESOL teacher looking for students of any age and availability

I'm a freelance tutor and musician, with a bachelors and Master's degree and a level 5 certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language from the TEFL organisation. I have worked with children and young people in an educational capacity with the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, and have experience learning French, German and Italian, so am familiar with the challenges faced while learning a foreign language.

I believe the best approach to learning is to be engaged in things you enjoy, thus my lessons will be based around your interests and hobbies; let's get you speaking English by talking about things you want to talk about. I'm dyslexic, and therefore understand the challenges that come with that, and can help you find ways around these difficulties to reach a high standard of reading and writing, as I have done.

We'll take lessons at your pace - focussing on your learning objectives to get you where you need to be and there will be no punishment in my class for misunderstanding or getting things wrong - we'll find the way to learn that works for you!
