I believe that memorisation of lines without understanding their practical meaning is useless in the profession of psychology. Whether one wants to emphasize in Research or Practice, real life or navette oriented (imaginary) cases should be presented and analysed. This way the students are challenged to find the solution and fully understand complex situations, become flexible and organised in their thinking. Whether individually or in groups, students will be given an assignment (usually a complex situation-question to solve or case) with support from scientific articles. Then explanation about the right and wrong answer/s will follow. Occasionally, I would like to have my students tested in their knowledge once every month or whenever themselves feel up to the challenge.
