Art tutor for GSCE, A Level, Undergrad and Masters students

I have a PhD and an MLitt (Distinction) in English/Comics Studies, and have experience of teaching undergrad and Masters students, as well as 15+ years of community arts practice and workshop facilitation. I have worked with young people of all ages and I am experienced in developing study tools and syllabi designed to suit the learning needs of the student. I have a Certificate in Counselling Skills which I put to use through active listening and an empathetic approach, each of which benefits my tutoring greatly. I design lessons in line with current curricula, but with an emphasis on student-lead exploration of the topic. My lessons are interesting and dynamic, not only designed to teach the skills required, but also impart a love of the subject.
