Maths tutor providing lessons for GCSE students

Advert description
I have a grade 9 in maths and further maths, and am currently working at an A* grade in maths and further maths in A-levels at sixth form. Hence, I have extensive knowledge of the process to getting those top grades. Paired with lots of experience in tutoring - tailoring lessons to best suit my students - I strongly believe I can help you achieve and even surpass your target grades!

Hey students!

In my lessons you can expect a tailored syllabus that considers which topics you excel in and which topics you find more difficult, so that we are making the best use of our sessions. I like to take time at the beginning to fully explain a new concept or method - mainly by going through worked examples. Then, I'll present similar questions that you can work through yourself. Once I am confident you have a grasp of the methodology and you understand the basics we will promptly move on to harder exam-styled questions. This is a point of emphasis throughout the course of my lessons as the final target is to increase your exam grades - and by improving and regularly practising exam technique we will continuously be building towards that. Furthermore, if we have time to spare, I like to include some active recall of previous topics in the form of some light quizzes (don't stress too much!) and whiteboard work to consolidate and revise past lessons.

Though my lessons are structured, and we will discuss a timeline of how we want to progress (considering your target grades), I will prioritise your judgement over mine, and move on only once we are both happy and confident to do so. In other words, I can guarantee that we will meet and surpass your target grades, but how we get there will ultimately be decided by you, just with my guidance. I am able to say so with such confidence as I achieved a grade 9 in GCSE maths and further maths and am working at an A* level at sixth form - so I have intimate knowledge of how to write these exams and achieve those top grades - further proven from my previous cohort of students that have achieved a grade 7 or above, with one student jumping three grades from a 5 to a 8.

So, do you want to get those top grades? If you do, I look forward to our lessons.
Thanks, Rhea
