Biology Teacher with good experiences in lower school science and mathematics

I have a Master's degree in Biochemistry, specifically genetic engineering using CRISPR/Cas9 to make models testing the links between our DNA and disease (Distinction). I have a BSc in Biology (1st) and A-Levels in Biology and Maths. I have GCSE's in Chemistry and Physics (A*s) and am happy to teach 11+ upwards to GCSE in all sciences/maths and up to A-Level for Biology specifically!

I worked in a school during my gap year and was a swimming teacher for eight years. In this time, I have seen first-hand how important it is to understand how differently people learn and that one simple change in teaching can help unlock an individual's potential. More importantly, it makes learning that little more exciting!

I am happy to support any direction a student wishes to take, whether that is getting into their top school, improving their exam results by a grade or just giving that boost of confidence in their abilities. I aim to provide a supportive environment, where, if they wish, individuals can grow and question why things happen. Truly the centre of science and exactly why I love it!
