Psychology Tutor for Undergraduate Students

I received my undergraduate degree in Bsc Psychology with the University of Limerick and have since completed an online a Level 6 in Child development during the pandemic. I am currently studying for an MA in Gender, Globalisation and Human Rights in the University of Galway (NUIG). I adore the fields of psychology and society including mental health, and read about it in my spare time too.

I have experience tutoring others in a variety of subjects, and pride myself on being able to break down seemingly complex ideas and topics and explain in a way that's easy to understand. I have excellent communication skills from years of professional working experience, and within previous employment roles, I was involved in developing knowledge exercises, and training in new members of staff.

I can provide essay writing support, and facilitate students with conducting literary reviews. My previous assignments have included using both qualitative and quantitative methods, and I am proficient in both APA and Harvard referencing styles. I currently work in the IT department of the University of Galway and have proficient IT skills, I can easily navigate online learning platforms, Zoom, Teams and databases.

I'd like to be able to help with not just the learning of topics, but also methods of learning, writing and academic skills that are transferable and can be applied to topics and assignments going forward.

I'm friendly and enthusiastic and as I'm going through the college process myself at the moment, I can sympathise with any stresses you might be feeling about your coursework! I'd love to be able to help alleviate that stress by sharing the knowledge I have gained over the course of my education so far.
