English / German conversations

I have worked with languages for 25 years, mainly as a translator, also interpreter (in courts, police, social services etc.). While my teaching experience is very limited (I have taught Polish to small groups, English and German on 1:1 basis), I am obviously acutely aware of issues and challenges accompanying the acquisition of a foreign language. Having resided 14 and over 25 years in Germany and the UK respectively I am and will make my students familiar with the language as it is actually spoken. Conversations based on press articles, films etc. relevant to their interests.
