Commercial Photographer teaches all ages and abilities

I have a BA (Hons) degree in Commercial Photography and over 10 years of photographic experience. I carry a range of expertise from different areas and practices, from high-end product photography and corporate headshots to traditional darkroom and manual film processing techniques.

I can offer a range of tutoring for photographic practices including:
- Understanding basic camera operations and techniques: Focus, Shutter, Aperture and ISO
- Basic principles of light and how we can use them in our images
- Video shooting principles and techniques
- Using flash and studio backdrops for portraits and product photography
- Portrait shooting techniques: lighting, getting comfortable, directing, etc.
- Focus Stacking and macro work
- Shooting using 35mm, medium format and large format film cameras
- Developing and scanning film negatives at home
- Basic darkroom principles
- Mordançage
- Any other specific techniques or requests you may have!

My love for teaching stems from my background in teaching watersports. My style of delivery is hands-on and encourages organic problem solving through discussion, rather than simply dictating the process.

As a person with both Dyspraxia and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity-Inattentive Disorder (ADHD - Inattentive), I have real-world experience of the struggles faced by students who do not fit the contemporary classroom mold and may be looking for guidance in their studies.
