Primary Tutor of All Subjects

I am a teacher in a Scottish school, with a Bachelor of Arts Teaching degree. My lessons are based on active learning. Normally I will demonstrate or explain the key concepts then let the student complete an activity that reinforces this learning. After practising activities, I then do an informal assessment and help the student identify what they are success at, ensuring lots of praise is given when due, and also identifying areas for them to work on. This gives the student more control and understanding over their learning.
