Maths and English Tutor for Children in Primary School

Hi, I am Lauren and am 18 years old and I have just started my first year at Exeter University and am studying law.

I really enjoy working with children and have completed work experience at Seaton House Primary School which has given me an insight into what tutoring would be like.

I worked with 3-11 year olds and I was given tasks which have improved my communication skills and ability to teach/tutor children. For example, I helped them learn to read by listening to them and teaching them how to pronounce words. Fortunately, I was given the opportunity to mark their work as well which taught me to be more accurate and I was able to understand what sort of topics they focused on.

All of these tasks have equipped me with skills necessary to be an effective tutor.
