Online Accounting Tutor for more than 20 years

Hello my name is Catherine. As a lecturer , my role is to educate my students and deliver lectures on three levels of Financial Accounting/Financial Reporting subjects for over 20 Years. I believe it’s not just about repeating textbook knowledge, but rather, finding ways to make lessons engaging and to get students involved. My experience has assisted me on how to improve on my lecturing style and making it relatable to my students when delivering a lecture. In this context and in order to foster a sense of trust and improve student-lecturer communications I have developed lines of communication with my students which has resulted in building trust with my students and I can also use my communication skills to help those students who may be struggling. My focus is on having an understanding of the needs of my students and creating a supportive and training environment which meets the different learning needs for a diverse student population such as mature students, foreign nationals and people with disabilities. My experience has lead me to take on actionable steps to help me lead and meet the different learning needs my students
