I am an enthusiastic and welcoming individual with experience in tutoring beginner to amateur level musicians.

Primarily, I look to inspire in my tutoring, conveying the passion shared for music and the joy in learning an instrument, while also implementing the science behind learning, and why above all else, they must train to develop their ear for music first, and to trust in that more than their hands. Music is something you feel, so alongside an early understanding of theory (ie. scales and chord progressions), a greater sense of melody, harmony, and most crucially rhythm, will be developed, in a fun and easy to understand way, for the pupil. Lastly, the sentiment of playing what you feel is developed by the music styles you have been exposed to and are most passionate about, so I will encourage early training of the pupils ear for music to align with familiar sounds and genres that they enjoy, practicing basic melodic segments of their desired tunes.
