Advert description
I have been a professional artist, curator and publisher for 17 years and have a BA (Hons) first class degree in Fine Art (Sculpture) and Masters by Research in Contemporary Art. I have taught at degree level as well as in schools and community settings. I can offer a variety of set tasks and individually tailored lesson plans to suit the needs, interests and desired outcomes of each student. I am experienced across many media including sculpture, drawing, print, paint, installation, video, sound and performance. I am also trained in Counselling (Level 2), teacher training preparation and a neurodiversity and mental health awareness. I offer a holistic and person-centred approach to creative practice development. An initial session would set your goals and intentions i.e. specific skills or learning/development outcomes. You can book a block of sessions or you can book on an ad hoc basis if this is more suitable for your needs. I can also offer extended tasks for outside of tuition time to bring back to sessions and this can be planned on the outset or on a session by session basis.
