Holder of a BA in English Literature and Linguistics along with the CELTA, I’ve been teaching English since 2016. As an aficionado of books and independent cinema, I integrate video clips, music and literature into my classes in order to encourage student engagement. When not teaching, I read biography, novels and poems and I also write short stories and free verse, which I self-publish. And when not writing I can be found at Cairo’s arthouse cinemas. In fact, nothing, apart from a good book, beats an entertaining discussion about a good film, especially "Fight Club".
