Advert description
Hi there! I’m currently in my third year of MSci Psychology at Royal Holloway, and my passion for psychology has grown stronger. I began by completing AP and IB Psychology, earning a 3/5 in AP and a 6/7 in IB – experiences that sparked my interest and gave me a solid grounding in the subject.
In addition to covering core topics like cognitive, social, and developmental psychology, I’ve gained hands-on experience with the research side of psychology, from designing experiments to writing lab reports and analyzing data. I'm comfortable with statistical methods and software such as SPSS and R, and I know how challenging these areas can initially feel. I can guide students through everything from understanding research design to interpreting results and structuring reports.
My lessons are interactive, practical, and tailored to each student’s learning style. For visual learners, I use diagrams, flowcharts, and mind maps to simplify complex theories. Auditory learners benefit from discussions and verbal explanations, while hands-on learners engage through practical exercises, case studies, and real-world examples. If you're more of a reading/writing learner, I’ll provide structured notes, reading lists, and step-by-step guidance for assignments.
I break down complex concepts into simple, relatable ideas and use real-world examples and case studies to make the material come to life. I also provide tips and techniques for writing clear, concise lab reports that meet academic standards.
I’m patient, approachable, and committed to helping students succeed – not just in exams, but in developing a genuine interest and confidence in psychology. If you're looking for someone who understands the academic and practical sides of psychology, I’d love to help you achieve your goals!
